Have you visited USG a few times and want to find out more about Unitarian Universalism? Are you curious about the history of this church, founded in 1865, and of this small but mighty denomination? Do you want to know how you can get a little more involved? Do you want to know what we are doing in social justice work? In adult education? Or anything else? Then UU101 is for you!
This one-hour session, held on the second Sunday of every month at 9:30 a.m., is an introduction to UUism and USG. The session includes a little personal sharing, so that participants can become acquainted, and then a lot of helpful information. The class also discusses USG’s reciprocal “covenant of membership”---that is, what the church and each new member that joins commit to each other. A participant in this class also receives a free copy of the Unitarian Universalist Pocket Guide.
UU 101 meets in the Daskam Room (second floor). Childcare is provided. For more information or to RSVP, please send an email to UU101@usguu.org or contact group leaders Howard Silver at 215-884-2734, or Linda Bernstein at 215-842-0560.
