We offer two classes each month:  UU101 and UU 102.

UU 101: An Introduction to Unitarian Universalism (monthly on the second Sunday)

Have you visited a few times and want to find out more about Unitarian Universalism? Are you curious about the history of this church (founded in 1865) and the history of this small but mighty denomination? Do you want to know how you can get a little more involved? Do you want to know what we are doing in social justice work? In adult education? Or anything else?  UU 101 is for you!

This one hour session is an introduction to UUism and USG.  There is a little personal sharing to get to know the other participants, and then a lot of information that you will find helpful.  You also receive a copy of the Unitarian Universalist Pocket Guide.

UU 101 meets on the second Sunday of every month, at 9:30 in the Daskam Room (second floor).  Childcare is provided. If you can attend or have questions, contact group leaders Howard Silver, 215-884-2734 or HowardDSilver@comcast.net, or Linda Bernstein, 215-842-0560 or fambern@verizon.net.

UU 102: The Seven Principles (monthly on the third Sunday)

UU102 is an informal sharing discussion of the covenant of seven principles, which reflect the core values of Unitarian-Universalism.  We will discuss different principles at each monthly session.  This drop-in course, which may be attended repeatedly, is the perfect follow-up to UU 101.  Long-time members are also invited.

Leaders:  Mark Bernstein is a longtime member who has led services and many adult RE programs.  Co-leader Jane Eisenstein is a new member, and recent co-leader of the Adult RE course, “Voluntary Simplicity.”  Contact Mark at 215 842 0560 or fambern@verizon.net, if you have questions.
